About Us

Find out about us and the work we do.

Welcome to the Minority Women Research Network.

The mission of Minority Women Research Network (MWRN) is to promote community and patient engagement in research (CPER) conducted by minority women scientists interested in research collaborations, academic scholarship, innovation, and dissemination.

Join us for our Workshops and Symposium.

MWRN is hosting two workshops in 2017 to plan a health-related research symposium in 2018. Funding from PCORI allows us to expand our network to additional community members, research networks, and community and patient engaged research teams.

This workshop was partially funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (3929-MC) and CTSA Grant Number UL1 TR000135 from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official view of PCORI or NIH.
